Well, so there it is. Now we have a president who STILL doesn't act presidential and also destroys our economy and our foreign policy. Oh, and also our border policy.

While both partys try to diminish their importance by referring to Independents as low-interest/info voters it could not be farther from the truth, we are very well informed.

Independents look at the Rs and Ds and consider them both a pox and if they had someplace else to go that was viable and reflected their sensibilities they would.

Thing is when one party (like the dems now) are so totally off the hook and bent on the downfall of the Republic and trying to turn it into some sort of Mobocracy or worse we will hold our collectives noses and vote with the gop.

To be honest I don't see how anyone can look at the R and D "leadership" and be anything but a Independent.

Many white college educated suburban women didn't like Trump's TONE.

The subject was the Independent voter, not the swing voter.

If you set the cheating narratives off to the side a very good case can be made that Trump lost the "swing-vote" which usually consists of vapid suburban housefraus that did not vote for Trump because he is a insufferable asshole.

Contrast that to a Independent that thinks, "yeah trump is a insufferable asshole but I like his policies". The feels-based "swing-vote" is what did Trump in.
