They have lost a huge number of fighting personnel in the Kursk offensive . Weapons and equipment .
It has been calamitous for NATO . Absurdly expensive for a bit of PR .
And now the tail end of the action will see an even larger number of Russians drive them back .

At any negotiation table held now , Kyiv has not a single credible playing card .
Which the US, NATO and the EU all know and is the only reason for the recent US announcements .
Unless the US/NATO has got something extra special "up its sleeve" over the next few months , Russia will effectively totally ignore them .
