I watched the videoS, watched a play-by-play analysis. It was shown/ explained how the shooter could not see through the door, could not see the unarmed female clearly, could not see a clear target, & reportedly could not see the 2 Xapitol Policemen behind her approaching.

Again, had Babbit been black and the Capitol policeman was confirmed white the Capitol would have been burned by now, along with the church....

There were 2 cops right next to her, and they could easily have been killed by the shooter by accident.
And no cops said anything, at any time.
The persons yelling to stop were some of the other demonstrators, who saw the pistol being pointed at Ashli for quite some time before the trigger was pulled.
And she did not crawl through the barricade, as that was in front of the door.
She went through the broken out window next to the door.

The 3 cops who were guarding the door were escorted out for their own safety by 3 other cops who had just arrived. A 4th one who had also just arrived was standing on the stairs.

And actually on the stairway, there were about 20 cops with full auto rifles, just waiting for orders.
But they also could see Ashli attempting to enter the window just above the stairs, and they though nothing of it.

Whether Democrats have their own investigations or Republicans join them, it is merely an attempt to drag out an event that was pretty much over shortly after the sun went down on 1/6. It is also a stage for Democrats to play up right wing groups as a constant threat.

In a global community, there have to be standards. We all have a stake in each other to some degree. It's why I always say "call out Chinas human right abuses and demand basic, global norms".
