Yes, I'm a Marxist—Leninist, but I also support all existing forms of socialism, even if it's not my ideal version of it, because socialism is inherently better than capitalism. When challenged on his policies, Bernie erupted. watch the interview

You have a human right to the fruits of other peoples labor!
No, it just means government will let you eat the crumbs under the table and you will like it cuz everyone is the same, except for an elite few in government.

But that is always Ok with the socialist. They like to shrink the top 1% down to the top 0.00000001%

It gives them warm fuzzies.

There is no such things as "economic rights." Everyone in this country has the same chance to succeed or fail on their own volition, and the US Constitution doesn't provide a "right" to do either. In addition to that, the government has a large part in being responsible for a country's economic condition. The reason we're seeing high inflation, high prices, and high energy costs right now is because of politically-irresponsible and economically-illiterate idiots like Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden, and the Democrat Party.

advocates of supply side capitalism like TN Harley, who thunder with certitude that socialism is evil, will change course after i'm finished making the case in this thread

TNHarley will fall, bow at my feet, and say: "yes, basquebromance, you and Bernie are right, socialism is the way!"

Nope, Putin done it

Besides, there is NOTHING the democrats can't control inflation, rather, they can only control the weather if only given trillions more of our inflating tax dollars.

Can you at least drop the socialism label and refer to reality on what is practiced in Canada and all other modern capitalist countries.

It's socially responsible capitalism.

Try to make your case that way!

I'm with you on your attempt but I won't throw out capitalism.

I sometimes forget it's that time of year when Bernie comes out looking for handouts.

LOL

The country charges a fee in taxes to those who operate a business. They have to pay their share in providing the infrastructure of the country that makes doing business possible!

Explore the many different costs to a country's people, to provide what's necessary.

But let's not divert the topic to government waste because that's a different topic that belongs under 'bad government' in America.

Global Socialism which is something Sanders and Biden are for is mentioned in The Book of Revelation and Book of Daniel and a couple other prophetic books. Marxist Globalist Socialism is Satanic and is push towards the 666 End Times New World Order and Satanic Global Government.
Nice to know who's side you are on.

Economic success or sustenance is not a right. It’s a responsibility.
That’s why lib loons want to call it a right; to avoid the responsibility and effort.

Socialism is Satanic, and what is being advocated by WEF, UN, Agenda 2030, Global Warming Church is all written of in The Book of Revelation.

Socialism works if you murder enough people. The body count is over 100 million and counting. How many millions more need to die to get to perfect it ?
The Book of Revelation states 75% of The World's Population will be wiped off of the planet in the Next Globalist Socialist Wave.

Social responsibility is an other directed action. If you take care of you and I take care of me and everyone does that then they are no simpering deadbeats drawing off other peoples resources and production

Best to just offer marvin and tree a nice ice cream cone and end the discussion!

@Donald H

Capitalism has no responsibility to society except to provide safe, diverse, and competitively-affordable goods and services to its consumers, pay a portion of it's earnings as tax revenue, and increase shareholder's profits.

Maybe that's why the US has a GNP of $23.39 trillion dollars but Canada's GNP is only a measly $1.97 trillion.

Good luck with that "socially-responsible capitalism" BS, yokel. :laughing0301:

Bernie is kind a the typical dumbass Leftest turd so he probably doesn't know that FDR's stupid big government polices extended the Great Depression in the US seven years longer than it should have.

FDR's policies prolonged Depression by 7 years, UCLA economists calculate

"The fact that the Depression dragged on for years convinced generations of economists and policy-makers that capitalism could not be trusted to recover from depressions and that significant government intervention was required to achieve good outcomes," Cole said. "Ironically, our work shows that the recovery would have been very rapid had the government not intervened."

Clearly stated, Capitalists have a responsibility to fund the country's needs through taxation. In a capitalist country, there is no other source of income provided to government's responsibility to keep the wheels turning.

If a purely socialist country existed, the same rules would apply.

Can you imagine how any other system would be different?
