It's going to be ok. It's just a beauty pageant. Right now they are just going to tell people what they want to hear. And people who watch it are going through the pretense that they actually have a choice.

For Democrat politicians, "working people" and "hard working people" are buzzwords that actually mean, government employees, union members, and people who aspire to be union members. "Working people" does not include executives and professionals who put in 80 hour weeks, entrepreneurs, or the people who actually do productive work.

Ironically, many of the Democrat policies that they claim are for the benefit of "working people" - the $15/hr MW, paid maternity leave, "free" health insurance, and so on, actually make it harder for the people at the bottom to find a job, any job.

Most Democrats have never in their lives actually done productive work, and wouldn't recognize it if they saw it.
