Dear Bernie,
You are fighting to win, and we support you. If billionaire interests block you from winning the Democratic nomination we urge you to continue the political revolution by running independently of the Democratic Party rather than endorse Hillary Clinton.

SIGN the PETITION - Bernie: Break from the Democratic Party and run independent through November!
IN COMPARISON:
2008 Primary. Obama won the primary by a mere
41,622 popular votes. Hillary Clinton graciously conceded the race and endorsed Barack Obama.

2016 Primary. Hillary Clinton currently has a popular vote lead of
3,720,322 popular votes, which is going to grow on Tuesday when Washington D.C. votes, and when those provisional ballots are counted in California. She has more pledged delegates, more Super Delegates and has won more states, yet Sanders still won't concede this race or endorse her.
Hillary Clinton is the CONFIRMED nominee of the party.
RealClearPolitics - 2016 Democratic Popular Vote
If Bernie Sanders were to run as an Independent at this time, he would be the most hated Senator in Washington D.C. Those that supported him, would turn their backs on him. He would probably even be censored in the Senate, and
Democrats would most certainly launch an attack on his Senate seat in Vermont, possibly even trying to recall him if he isn't up for reelection this year. The DNC would attack without mercy, chew him up, & spit him out at every single opportunity.
It was Sanders decision, and his decision alone to change his party status to run on the Democrat ticket. At that time he agreed to all DNC rules and procedures, including the 714 Democrat Super Delegates. He also agreed to each and every state primary and caucus rules.
So there would be enormous negative consequences for Bernie Sanders to run as a 3rd party candidate at this time. Which is probably why he won't do it.
