The OP actually thinks the world can put pressure on China to make them stop using coal......unfortunately, they'll be upping their coal use by 50% over the next 30 years. This doesn't surprise me at all. A buddy of mine had to go to China for two weeks a few years ago and when he came back he was sniffing and had all kinds of respiratory problems for about a week.

I agreed but if china stop using energy means then people start to die because of hunger and depend on rest of the world. And prosper world not helping now, who help then.

China could use clean coal, natural gas, nuclear, wind, solar and develop fusion. America and Europe cleaned up our act by using regulations and laws.

When was the last time the USA built a nuclear reactor?

This thread......the responses......illustrates the difference between the thinking of a conservative mind and the mind of a progressive. Massive differences in the way the setting screws are set up.

The progressive mind cannot accept that life is simply about necessary tradeoffs....the conservative mind looks at the best options and arrives on the best possible solution believing that in life, that is the best you can do. The progressive mind believes anything is possible if we just try hard enough, thus, the solution to any and all problems simply means the institutions need to change to achieve all goals, thus promoting perfection.

The progressive thinks the world is ever evolving and past solutions have just been wrong headed, thus, one must perpetually search for solutions to all things via intellect.
