Go ahead, tell us exactly what happened in Benghazi. And why it happened. I am willing to be set straight on the matter.
LOL. You see, here in American- one is innocent until proven guilty. So far, based on all the evidence, after 8 investigations, & $7,000,000,000.00 later, that guilty charge hasn't happened.
SO, in order for that to EVER happen, NEW undiscovered "proof" must be introduced. SO, sweety, that burden lies on the shoulders of the accuser. That would be *you*. Have fun finding it & get back to me when you do.
Which part of the survivors story is wrong? Where do they lie?
Did Panetta, Petreus, & Dempsey lie? How about Chipman, the GOP's chief investigator? Did he lie? How about Ambassador Steven's own family?
They implored the powers that be not to make his death political & use "Benghazi" as political fodder to further their agenda. & touted the way he conducted himself in Libya, dating back to 2013.

Chris was not willing to be the kind of diplomat who would strut around in fortified compounds. He amazed and impressed the Libyans by walking the streets with the lightest of escorts, sitting in sidewalk cafes, chatting with passers-by. There was a risk to being accessible. He knew it, and he accepted it.
What Chris never would have accepted was the idea that his death would be used for political purposes. There were security shortcomings, no doubt. Both internal and outside investigations have identified and publicly disclosed them. Steps are being taken to prevent their reoccurrence.
Chris would not have wanted to be remembered as a victim. Chris knew, and accepted, that he was working under dangerous circumstances. He did so -- just as so many of our diplomatic and development professionals do every day -- because he believed the work was vitally important. He would have wanted the critical work he was doing to build bridges of mutual understanding and respect -- the kind of work that made him literally thousands of friends and admirers across the broader Middle East -- to continue.
So rather than engage in endless recriminations, his family is working to continue building the bridges he so successfully began.

And that is STILL the sentiment 3 years later:
Amb. Stevens' sister: Don't blame Clinton for Benghazi

(CNN)The sister of the U.S. ambassador to Libya killed in
Benghazi said she doesn't blame
Hillary Clinton for Chris Stevens' death, instead pointing to Congress for under-budgeting the State Department.
"I do not blame Hillary Clinton or Leon Panetta (for Stevens' death). They were balancing security efforts at embassies and missions around the world," Dr. Anne Stevens, who has acted as a spokesperson for the family, said
in an interview with the New Yorker published Tuesday.
"But what was the underlying cause? Perhaps if Congress had provided a budget to increase security for all missions around the world, then some of the requests for more security in Libya would have been granted. Certainly the State Department is underbudgeted," she added. "I would love to hear they are drastically increasing the budget."
Stevens also said that "it doesn't look like there's anything new"
in the Benghazi reports released by House Republicans and Democrats earlier this week after two years spent investigating the 2012 attacks, and she expressed frustration with the politicization of the tragedy that killed her brother.
"Yes! Definitely politicized," Stevens said. "Every report I read that mentions him specifically has a political bent, and accusatory bent..."
