Bending The Knee Is Being A Part of It

Bending The Knee Is Being A Part of It
Democrats and Democrat Socialists Are the Same
Last night, NYC Mayoral candidate and communist Mamdani had a big rally in NYC. Out of the closet communists. AOC and Bernie were there. They walked off the stage to a chant of âTax the Richâ.
âMainstreamâ Democrats like NY Governor Kathy Hochul were also there. She has endorsed Mamdani for mayor.
Democrat pundits are trying to draw a line between a âDemocratâ and a âDemocrat Socialistâ. When you are a Democrat and bend the knee by endorsing a Democratic Socialist, the line isnât blurred. You are one and the same thing.
Any Democrat who endorses a Democratic socialist has exhibited that they have a concern only for power, not the people. Period, the end.
They are communists. There is no difference between them: China, the old Soviets, North Korea, Castro, or the Khmer Rouge of Cambodia.
In the sixties, William F. Buckley was trying to rally Republicans to the conservative movement. One of his first steps was to clear the decks of the Republican Party of radicals like the John Birch Society. Many told him, âWe might lose elections if we donât include them.â He didnât care. Winning elections by partnering with communists, or the John Birchers, means you arenât actually winning. You are always going to have to make policy decisions with them at the table, and that means you are always going to have bad policy.
Put simply, âI made some wonderful chocolate brownies. I put just a little bit of dogshit in them, but they still taste great. Want one?â

People who inherited their money often feel guilt about it and embrace causes like communism to put a salve over that guilt. Hence the phrase, ârich enough to be a Democratâ. It is a weird and damaging psychological construct.
There have always been differences between Republicans and Democrats. But, those differences are very wide today and very different today than they were 50 years ago. It used to be that Democrats were âfor the little guyâ and for unions, and Republicans were for the corporate and wealthy country club set.
That difference is no longer true. Democrats are for big corporations and for centralized, unelected bureaucratic power. Elected Democratic officials simply put their cronies into those unelected positions and then fake the oversight function they are supposed to carry out.
The result is LESS freedom for citizens and corruption.

I get it. We are in a race with China. China is huge, and it is a centralized communist bureaucracy. When they want to do something, they just do it. There are no property rights or human rights to worry about. The Chinese government chooses who becomes rich and who doesnât.
We look at that and feel like we cannot win the race. Capitalism and free markets are messy. The path to get places is not a straight line. But it wins every time because more people win with capitalism than if you try communism or crony capitalism.
We are at a dangerous point in America. NYC is about to go communist, and the entire state will soon. Hochul bent the knee. Sheâd rather partner with a communist to keep power rather than kick them out of the party. Sheâd rather partner with a communist than find common ground with a Republican to preserve liberty and freedom. Itâs not just Hochul. There are LOTS of Democrats all over the country who would make the same deal.
California and Illinois arenât any different. Minnesota, not different. Massachusetts, not different. We can go on and on.
The sad thing is that many of these states traditionally have had some of our best-performing geographies when it comes to GDP, innovation, risk-taking, risk hedging, and capital formation. Reconstituting that in other states will not be easy and will provide short-term bumps in the road for the American economy.
Itâs easy to say, âmove the entire investment banking and exchange system from New York to Miamiâ. Itâs a lot harder to do it and very hard to replicate the intensely close and dense human network in another place. Same with Silicon Valley moving somewhere else.
It is far easier to get rid of ideas like Howard Lutnick has or other bad Republican ideas than it is to get rid of communism or government that isnât communist on the face of it, but acts like it in smoke-filled rooms. Thatâs what Argentina has been dealing with since the rise of Peron.
If NYC wants to elect a communist mayor with the support of the Democratic Party, they are using their own rope to hang themselves.
Commentary:
The right continues trying to denigrate the Democrats for being Socialists, but the truth is theyâre not Socialists. They're Communists.
Their first cause is to stay in power, so they promise voters all sorts of âFree Stuffâ to buy votes. Their second cause is to erect barriers; not to protect the country, NO they want to erect barriers that will guarantee they stay in power.
Labeling people who are successful as 'Deplorable', stealing their money in the form of taxes, and buying support.
The problem is that because so many people lack integrity and decency, theyâll gladly sign on to the Democrat agenda.
DSA Marxist Socialist selective application of the law (sanctuary cites & states, cash-free bail, not prosecuting the criminal element, protection of corrupt politicians of a certain stripe, etc.) allows those in power to enforce only laws that run counter to the narrative of the ruling class (think Jan 6th where they could identify anyone that even attended the protests but can't determine who could have possibly left a bag of cocaine in a area of the White House inaccessible to the public). This robs the citizenry of equal protection under the law, one of the cornerstones of our republic.
In the end, thatâs why the Democrats/DSA want to disarm us all so they can send all or us who oppose them to a Gulag the first rule of all Tyrants is to disarm the people it worked for Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Castro and Pol Pot.
