“Belief that one’s entitled to freedom is key component of white supremacy”

They really hate the constitutional rights.

The primarily White supporters of the Freedom Convoy argue that pandemic mandates infringe upon their constitutional rights to freedom. The notion of “freedom” was historically and remains intertwined with Whiteness, as historian Tyler Stovall has argued. The belief that one’s entitlement to freedom is a key component of White supremacy. This explains why the Freedom Convoy members see themselves as entitled to freedom, no matter the public health consequences to those around them.

Canada’s history of freedom then, was founded in the unfreedom of Indigenous people. This dynamic has been unnoticed and misconstrued by organizers, attendees and supporters of the Freedom Convoy. On the GoFundMe, the organizers claimed: “We are a peaceful country that has helped protect nations across the globe from tyrannical governments who oppressed their people, and now it seems it is happening here … We are doing this for our future Generations and to regain our lives back.” They are advancing a settler colonial genealogy that deploys the language of “freedom” and “unity” while engaging in actions that are harmful and violent.
I think our side has defeated the dems and their mandates with fanged for thr time being

You notice how all of these school board meetings are all about white children not being made to feel bad about being white. There are never occasions when black parents attack the school boards over making black or brown children being made to feel bad about themselves. It's OK to characterize black and brown children as less intelligent, less moral, and more criminal than white kids.

When black kids have won awards over white students at schools, white kids have to be elevated to get awards too, so they don't feel bad about losing to black kids. You can google the links to those occasions.

The Trump Cult has twisted the meaning of the word "freedom" to mean that you get to do whatever makes YOU feel good, and fuck everyone else. You can deny service to those your religion tells you to hate, and not worry about how they people YOU are harming feel about being denied service. YOUR freedom to hate is what matters.

If YOU don't want a vaccine, well that's "freedom". And if hospital workers have to have their lives destroyed by caring for people expressing their "freedom", well they can change jobs.

When other people have to pay a big price for your "freedom", it's not free at all. Freedom is the ability to live your life as you please, without harming others. That's why masking and vaccines, and other mitigation requirements have nothing to do with "freedom" at all.

This concept of "freedom" is entirely a white supremacist concept. Jesus gave us two commandments - the first being to love God, and the second is to "love one another as I have loved you". His parables were all about setting aside differences - The Good Samaritan being a case in point, but you members of the Trump Cult define "freedom" as the ability to hate who you chose.

Telling don't you think.
Do you have a shred of evidence for these claims you are spouting?
