What an opportunity to break a 108-year streak of losing!!!

Let's go Cubs!!!!

OK...ok....I may have an ulterior motive.....

"If Yankees fans want Aroldis Chapman back, they should cheer for Cubs in World Series
....if you’re a Yankee fan hoping Chapman winds up back in the Bronx this winter, you should probably root for the Cubs to pull off this comeback and win the World Series.

Because if they lose, they’ll be under enormous pressure to pay whatever it takes to keep the Cuban star in Chicago to continue pursuing that elusive championship.

“The Cubs should want him back even if they win, but he’s going to break records for closer money, and Theo (Epstein) may not see it as the best way to allocate funds.”

....signing Chapman to say, a four-year, $60 million deal, and again pairing him with Dellin Betances, would give them a deep, dominant bullpen they’ll need...."

With the New Ownership that bought the team a few years back and Theo Epstein running the daily operations it could be possible the Cubs would still try to keep Chapman so the Cubs can try to repeat what they did this year...

Winning the World Series up Chapman contract but the Cubs have the resources to match New York and they just might do it...

Now the question would be if Chapman want to stay with the Cubs and in Chicago or head back to the Yankees where he loved to pitch!?!

We still are, out in North Dakota.

I can hope....

The pitched him 40+ 20 in his last two outings.....good chance he won't pitch tonight.

I hated rooting against Andrew Miller.....

But......the Cubs did it,

Now....Chapman? Pin stripes?

Maybe.
Chapman? The guy who gave up the 2 run homer to Rajai Davis?

Anyway. Congrats, Cubs. It was quite a game.

Full disclosure.....I'm a Yankee fan.

Just felt the Cub fans waited long enough.

Now...Chapman.....he had been over used in the two previous calls from the bullpen...

62 pitches before this game.

I loved it when we (the Yanks) has 'No Run DMC" as our bullpen

That's Dellin-Miller-Chapman.....

...love to see that happen again.

Some say that when the Cubs win the World Series, it is the End Time.

My team is the Detroit Tigers. Miller was a Tiger early in his career. I knew they were letting a good pitcher get away. Sigh.

See you in the spring, Yankee fan.

Blue state Chicago did beat the red state Cleveland. And the Browns are sucking too. That's what they get for supporting Trump.

Let me clarify your misunderstanding:

1. "The choice of colors in this divide is counter-intuitive to many international observers, as throughout the world, red is commonly the designated color for parties representing labor, socialist, and/or liberal interests [5] [6], which in the United States would be more closely correlated with the Democratic Party. Similarly, blue is used in these countries to depict conservative parties which in the case of the United States would be a color more suitable for the Republicans. For example, in Canada party colors are deeply ingrained and historic and have been unchanged during the Twentieth Century. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_state_vs._blue_state_divide

2. Blue, particularly dark blue, is usually associated with conservative parties, originating from its use by that party of the United Kingdom.
 The field of the flag of the United Nations is light blue, chosen to represent peace and hope. It has given rise to the term bluewashing.
 In the United States, since the year 2000, the mass media have associated blue with the Democratic Party, even though the Democratic Party is a liberal-leaning party. In 2010, the party unveiled a blue official logo

3. Red is traditionally associated with socialism and communism. The oldest symbol of socialism (and, by extension, communism) is the Red Flag, which dates back to the revolutions of 1848. The colour red was chosen to represent the blood of the workers who died in the struggle against capitalism. All major socialist and communist alliances and organisations – including the First, Second, and Third Internationals – used red as their official colour. The association between the colour red and communism is particularly strong. Communists use red much more often and more extensively than other ideologies use their respective traditional colours.
 In Europe and Latin America, red is also associated with parties of social democracy, and often their allies within the labour movement. Sometimes these parties use pink instead, as a "moderate" colour instead of the more "radical" red.
 In the United States, since the year 2000, the mass media have associated red with the Republican Party, despite the fact that the Republican Party is a conservative-leaning party.
