1.7 trillion is a hell of a lot of moneyQUOTE]

Really? This is in 80's dollars:

09/30/1993 $4,411,488,883,139.38(Debt Quadrupled By Reagan/Bush41)

09/30/1992 $4,064,620,655,521.66
09/30/1991 $3,665,303,351,697.03
09/28/1990 $3,233,313,451,777.25
09/29/1989 $2,857,430,960,187.32
09/30/1988 $2,602,337,712,041.16
09/30/1987 $2,350,276,890,953.00
09/30/1986 $2,125,302,616,658.42
09/30/1985 $1,823,103,000,000.00
09/30/1984 $1,572,266,000,000.00
09/30/1983 $1,377,210,000,000.00

09/30/1982 $1,142,034,000,000.00(Total Debt Passes $1 Trillion)

09/30/1981 $997,855,000,000.00

Current debt service... With no need to use inflation as a heart grabber.

Government - Interest Expense on the Debt Outstanding

Government debt history..........

Government - Historical Debt Outstanding – Annual

Then I must consider that you guys want to spend more to pay for local services to buy votes.

When will you approach this topic with credibility?

Conveniently omitting the 1.4 trillion of debt created under Barack Obama in 2009, and the 1.2 trillion and the 1.19 trillion the other two years. Its sorta of like an astronomer assessing relative sizes and brightness of differing stars out in the galaxies, their differences are sometimes so disparate thery have to rank them based on orders of magnitude, or powers of ten, a magnitude four star is ten times brighter than a three magnitude star, etc, etc.
One thing is for sure, Barack certainly star quality and shines in the debt creating arena. How many presidents have sent half a billion dollars to Finland for two cars equipped with Chinese made engines when 26 million Americans are either out of work or working short hours here at home. Barack even might rate a magnitude 10 for his debt creating skills.

my point flew right over your head, didn't it? :eusa_shhh:

We saw a prerview of coming attractions when Barack and Billy Ayers teamed up to handle the Annenberg Challenge as the Annenberg Foundation handed them several millions of dollars to put to work changing the educational outcomes of the students in the Chicago schools systems. The money disappeared lickety split under Barry and Bill's handling but changes in the kiddies' test score performances..... Zero! Zip! Nada!
Just like when Barry got a stipend from a Chicago area university shortly after he parted ways with Harvard to lecture and write on constitutional law. The inveterate narcissist used it to write his autobiography instead
