If you are a Christian who truly believes in the Trinity, then you should be a practicing Christian only one-third of the time. Your compassion and forgiveness must be balanced by the other two aspects of the trinity: the strict authority of God the Father and the mysticism of God the Holy Spirit.

For example, bleeding heart liberals who enable drug addicts and criminals by treating them as victims need to adopt some "tough love" while right-wingers need to temper their toughness with mercy. And both need to be more open to the Holy Spirit powers of dream interpretation and transcendence.

So less jesus and more asshole, that's what you are saying, right?

It’s not hard to know what to do to do God’s will. All you have to do is be objective and seek truth. God will do the rest.

With that said, the hard part is being objective. That takes practice and is a constant challenge.
