I watched that. He helped Jackie Robinson cope with MLB and this was the thanks he got.
Started an entire discussion on the issue. Dr Harry Edwards was prompted to ask 'How black must you be?' But Brokaw didn't have the presence of mind nor the nerve to ask him why that doesn't apply to affirmative action.
