Ban on guns with serial numbers removed is unconstitutional

Serial numbers very rarely matter in solving gun crimes, since they can be easily bought at gun shows, flea markets, or even garage sales. All they can do is point back to the last known owner who purchased the firearm and filled out the ATF Form 4473.

You have no idea how many guns are out there, waiting to be legally purchased without any paperwork. And yes, it is legal for an individual to sell their personal firearms, as long as they don't knowingly sell to a minor or a felon.
Why bother pointing out the facts to the low-T lefties?
They are paralyzed by an irrational fear of a tool & facts are not welcome in their phobias.

Why, before '68 serial numbers were not required on long guns.

Probably because the Kennedy assassin used a long gun. He was a leftist.

It probably would have been a better idea to serialize leftists, socialists, communists, and progressives, instead of the long guns.

We could have stamped the serial numbers right on their foreheads.

Let them have their way, and they'd just want serial numbers on hammers, knives, pliers, screwdrivers, and crescent wrenches too.

Why do you want an unmarked gun?
Criminals insist on them

What advantage does a marked gun have?

None.

All you can get from a S/N is when it was made and which retailer initially bought it and the original Form 4473 and possibly the name of the person who bought the gun from that first dealer in the chain.

There is no way to trace how many other times the gun may have been sold so there is really no pertinent information to be had from a S/N on a gun.

Plus it is still legal for people to make and/or assemble a firearm for their own use.

Like I said, all they can do is trace it back to the last known purchaser of the firearm.

That gun could have changed hands 20 times since then.
Not even that.

All they can get is the first person who bought it from a licensed dealer.

If the gun was sold privately or given away after that there will be no record

True, but it can give the police a lead to help solve a crime, when they have nothing else.
Things like what part of the country it originally came from and was it stolen from the owner in a burglary?

What's really stupid is thinking any bomb could destroy the sun.

If you think so ... a little black hole will change this impossibility ... and whatelse than a heavy, dancing, electric nothing exists in many stupid brains?

Who is this beautiful elegant woman and what is she doing? What means this?

According to the OP's article.
The guy was still charged for illegal possession of a gun because he is a convicted felon.

Yeah..... if the democrats would simply actually prosecute actual criminals, and stop releasing the ones we already have in custody, they could lower the gun crime rate in the cities they control by about 95%....but the goal is to use crime to control people and push gun control.....

She's mocking you, little snowflake. :laughing0301:

Fascinating. She is "mocking" with this gesture a colony of innocent nice and beautiful holy individual dry water chrystals which are made from an angel? How? What symbolizes this gesture? Exists any anthropologican background for this gesture? Is it known from which culture this gesture came and how old it might be?
