$300 billion in federal contracts for for 1/10th of that in donations?

And the rest have or until recently had cases pending that could have cost them millions in fines and such.

Isn't that what we call "quid pro quo"?

"Most of the publicly identified donors to President Donald Trump’s White House ballroom have high-stakes business before the administration, ranging from billions in government contracts to federal investigations into their companies,” the Washington Post reports.

“More than half of the companies that donated are facing or have recently faced federal enforcement actions tied to alleged wrongdoing that includes engaging in unfair labor practices, deceiving consumers and harming the environment.”

Trump has learned from China and Russia. You threaten these companies and tell them to give you a nice bribe, in the form of paying up after a bullshit lawsuit, or say they can fund something or other.

It's still massive corruption.

Let's just say these companies have no spine whatsoever and will bend to the party occupying the White House.

Well, how about the other way around. The companies, the rich, know they control government, they know money talks, and they know the politicians that will do anything for money. That's the US system.

Great, it looks like the return on investment worked both ways. ;)

Typical, the vile dems are always going on about companies not giving back enough.

OK, so they give back but the vile dems are now pissed about what they chose to give back about.

They begrudge every nickel of someone else's money that's not grifted back to the DNC.

And listen to all of the typical class warfare from the Dems about “the rich”. Democrats never go after the rich or the wealthy…. They say they do but they don’t. The Democrat party needs money too. Instead, they go after the high income earners (upper middle class).

Do not know what any of our politicians are doing?
Not working for the average American?

Need a presidential pardon? No problem! Just funnel $millions to Trump via his crypto company.

Need Trump to allow critical, proprietary AI chips be sold to your country? No problem! Just buy $2 billion of his crypto and gift him a $400 million plane.

Need tariff exemptions for your phones and laptops manufactured in China while everyone else, 97 percent of whom are American small businesses, has to pay 100 percent tariffs? No problem! Just gift Trump a million dollars at his inaugural and make a pilgramage to the Oval Office to present a glass trophy with a 24 karat base to the easily stroked grifter. Don't worry about all those promises you made about investing in the US that you have made many times before and never followed through on. Those are window dressing for the rank corruption you are participating in.

There is more. So much more.

Most of the publicly identified donors to President Donald Trump’s White House ballroom have high-stakes business before the administration, ranging from billions in government contracts to federal investigations into their companies, according to a report released Monday by a government watchdog group.

More than half of the companies that donated are facing or have recently faced federal enforcement actions tied to alleged wrongdoing that includes engaging in unfair labor practices, deceiving consumers and harming the environment, according to the report from Public Citizen, a consumer advocacy organization.

.
“They have massive interests before the federal government and they hope to undoubtedly curry favor with, and receive favorable treatment from the Trump administration,” Public Citizen Co-President Robert Weissman said in a statement. “Millions to fund Trump’s architectural whims are nothing compared to the billions at stake in procurement, regulatory and enforcement decisions.”

The corruption is out in the wide open now. Advantages for the oligarchs, **** the middle class.

The suckers actually bleeved the administration with the most billionaries in history was going to look out for them. Now they have to deal with skyrocketing groceries, the highest beef prices in history, skyrocketing home prices, skyrocketing health insurance, skyrocketing federal debt, and so much more.

And all the submissive MAGAs say, "It's Okay If Trump Does It!"
