Back from Limbo!

About a week ago I suddenly found that I couldn't get on-line. So after about $60 worth of tech help from my modem's company (AFTER the free help warranty ran out just last month!), I find out that AOL and Verizon (my county's land line phone service) are no longer speaking to each other. So I had to shop around to replace my DSL with a wireless set up via AT&T (my cell phone service). Decent rates, etc., etc.

So let the games begin (again)!

One of our homes is in a remote and rural area where DSL is unheard of. We tried satellite, which works well enough for our TV but Wild Blue and Hugh's didn't work for us. We finally went with Mellenicom and it works very well.

Warning, it is very expensive but if nothing else works, whaddaya gonna do?
