How would that be possible? Abortion on demand is federal law, dictated by the unelected rulers in the SCOTUS. States cannot overturn laws dictated by our judicial rulers.
Well, of the issue is that nothing DailyBeast and other hate sites post is actually true. Roe V. Wade is still the "law of the land," exactly as when Blackmun declared it law without the hassle of legislation, ratification, or executive signing.

Here's how it works. Media Matters or Move-On or some other left wing tax exempt research organization dedicated to getting democrats elected is constantly on the lookout for stuff like this. The stories are printed on left wing blog sites or appear as opinion editorials in the mulch media. The hate mongers on the left swallow the story without thinking and pretend to be outraged. The truth of the Arizona abortion litigation concerns the age, if you will, of the unborn child about to be killed. You have to start somewhere and Arizona decided on a standard to gauge the length of pregnancy. Let it go and see how it works lefties you can't stay hysterical for ever.

These kinds of bills which are the result of lobbying by faith based groups such as the Center for Arizona Policy cost the Arizona tax payers millions , not only in direct revenue for the costs that will be needed to defend them. As the Center for Arizona Policy and those that support it will no doubt lend the state the needed funds to defend it but rather sit back and let the tax payers foot the bill for their beliefs, they will also stand by and let the Arizona economy suffer for the very same thing. The bottom line here is this, these kinds of bills are costly not only to the state but also the people in general and server to accomplish little other than to make people choose sides on what is a moral issue best left for the hearts and minds of the individual. Again, if this bills purpose had been to protect Mothers then it would have done so rather than have language in it that is specific to the belief structure to a few religions.
