I've checked everywhere under my settings.

Other than leaving it blank -- I've not seen that option either.
You could raffle off the rights to an advertiser if it's subtle enough.

Adblock is said to remove avatars by clicking on them ... haven't tried it myself.

Yeah, I found it works on individual posts but have not yet figured out how to make it work on ALL posts by that individual.
