He competed in Atlanta with severe pain, requiring numbing injections, and later broke his neck four more times during his WWE career.

Wow. Pushing the limits of achieving greatness at this level is known to be a dangerous calculation. They all know the risks but see the payoff, if they can pull it off.

Bolton's fractures are characterized as stable, a good thing. We all hope he makes a full recovery.
