Defending the Doha strike targeting Hamas chiefs, Israel’s UN Ambassador Danny Danon says the attack “sends a message that should echo across this chamber.”

“There is no sanctuary for terrorists, not in Gaza, not in Tehran, not in Doha. There is no immunity for terrorists,” Danon tells the Security Council. “We will act against the leaders of terror wherever they are hiding.”

His comments come after the Security Council issued a rare joint statement condemning the strike in Doha, though it didn’t mention Israel by name.

So the UNSC condemned the attack because it was a violation of Qatari sovereignty, but did not condemn Israel for trying to kill the Hamas criminals who were there not to talk about peace but to demand payment to stop torturing and murdering Israeli hostages, and the payment they are demanding is a complete Israeli withdrawal from Gaza so they can rearm and launch another attack to capture and torture more Israeli hostages.

Clearly, that price could not be paid, so the talks Qatar was hosting could not have led to a positive outcome; the question is, did the Qataris know this and sponsor the talks to help Hamas buy time before the terror group was destroyed, and if so are the Qataris complicit in Hamas' crimes? As the Prime Minister pointed out, when Afghanistan gave safe haven to al Qaeda, the US invaded Afghanistan and toppled its government and when Bin Laden fled to Pakistan the US violated the sovereignty of Pakistan to kill Bin Laden, so how can it be wrong for Israel to try to kill the Hamas criminals Qatar is hosting?

Qatar should have thrown out the Hamas leadership the day after Oct. 7.

Hamas should never have been there in the first place, and they weren't until Obama, arguably the stupidest man to have ever sat in the Oval Office, persuaded Qatar in 2011 to host the Hamas leadership so he would have direct access to them, thus elevating Hamas' status from an armed gang of terrorist to a legitimate party in the conflict.

Sorry not to bother your conversation but I would like to point out there is nothing new and the reaction was very similar to what happened in 1985 ? When Israel attacked the PLO in Tunisia after they attempted atrocities in Israel… A nation state is allowed according to article 51 of the UN charter to do what is necessary to protect their citizens well being… The UN is and has become or was always just a good old boys club where there is a huge double standard esp when it comes to Israel… As they say nothing new under the sun and history always repeats if the lessons are not learned the first time most people never learn that is why most would fail and have to repeat their grade if one is truthful…

Correct, Jihadis have a very low learning curve. Also when their leaders are getting paid by actors such as Iran and Qatar to kill Jews and go after Israel, why should they stop?

People do not know this it is not common knowledge but Qatar supplies natural gas to Europe without their natural gas Europe would go dark … Qatar partner is Iran…. Iran receives money for the sale of gas and these funds are used to supply jihadist groups worldwide esp around Israel….Qatar also housed the mastermind of 9 11 years before the event took place .. Qatar fundsterrorism worldwide, they fund the universities that have been promoting antisemitism esp in the states.. They fund many media sources that have been bias in their reporting esp regarding Gaza and they control Al Jezera .. It is not to hard to put the pieces together … How can they be an impartial country in the negotiations between Israel and Hamas when the Hamas leaders are enabled and housed in their country… Further when a Muslim is required to do Jihad there are three ways one is by the sword to physically do it… If you are unable to contribute this way like Hamas does as well as Hezbullah, the Houthis etc etc then the second way is by giving money… No one can deny that Qatar has been at the forefront in supplying money to various jihadi groups esp Hamas… Finally the third way is by prayer which can be seen by the masses praying in the mosques and by their demonstrating on the streets in the various cities.. Qatar has long hidden their support of these various groups by using their soft power… AllIsrael has done is brought them out to be scrutinized by others who have eyes to see and are willing to see things for the way they truly are…

Exactly. There were no ceasefire negotiations left to talk about, Hamas dirtbags living the good life in Qatar had turned down the last and final round of negotiations, which according to Trump, Israel had agreed to.

Both Trump and Israel had said this was the final offer before the shit hit the fan. Both of them, especially Israel, don’t **** around.

Qatar should never have given them sanctuary. All of the oil states play both sides against the middle to maintain internal stability.
