The 1st Infantry Division headquarters will deploy to Iraq soon as the U.S. military steps up its campaign against Islamic State militants, the Pentagon said Thursday. It will be the first division headquarters assigned to Iraq since U.S. forces withdrew from the country at the end of 2011. About 500 soldiers from the Fort Riley, Kan.-based division will be heading for the Middle East next month with about 200 of them going to Iraq, Pentagon press secretary Rear Adm. John Kirby said. “They’re going to provide command and control of the ongoing advise-and-assist effort in support of Iraqi and peshmerga...

And now there is no reason to believe either party cares about the troops. They will both send them to their deaths for nothing.

Welllll.......

I think both PARTIES care about the troops. I KNOW all politicians get paid extremely large amounts by Military Weapons Manufacturers such as Lockheed Martin, it's in the paperwork.

This is what is known as the Military Industrial Complex. Research it. JFK did.....

"As of Thursday, 1,268 of the 1,600 American troops authorized to be in Iraq were in country." In reality these small numbers of American forces means they have to rely on the fighting ability and loyalty of their Iraqi comrades for security, for their lives really. And given the history of the Iraqi armed forces I'd say these 1268 soldiers have to be about the bravest fuckers on the planet.

They should have just dropped leaflets letting ISIS know that soon the GOP would be in power and a religious marriage between Muslims and evangelical Christians will occur to eliminate those ungodly Smurfs and My Little Pony atheists...
