Your side has been caught, and fair or not you have to make a better case to win. YOU and friends have FAILED-) Cya, wouldn't want to be ya!
It doesn't all me to the thread like posting my screen name would.

You wanted some cred with your fellow MAGAt-morons without actually having to deal with me calling you on your bullshit

Just admit you're a coward an move on.

GOP lawmakers confronted by constituents angry with Trump-Musk cuts
Several Republican lawmakers have faced backlash from constituents in recent days over President Trump's sweeping cuts to the federal government, which have been spearheaded by the Department of Government Efficiency, a task force led by Elon Musk.

With the House in recess, many members of Congress have held town halls and attended other events in their districts this week, giving their constituents a chance to confront lawmakers in person to express their discontent about budget cuts and the layoffs of federal workers by DOGE.

Rep. Rich McCormick, a Georgia Republican, clashed with constituents throughout a packed town hall in Roswell on Thursday. One attendee pressed McCormick on why the administration was taking "such a radical and extremist and sloppy approach" to the layoffs, noting that the administration has tried to rehire some employees working on bird flu and the nation's nuclear weapons programs after they were fired.

I made the point in another thread that some POT (party of trump) members of Congress are being put in a difficult position. OTOH, they do not want to be seen as not being in lockstep with MAGA doctrine. I mean absolute lockstep, since we know anything less than total acquiescence is considered to be heresy by the MAGA thought police.

But now there's been some pushback by constituents. Buyer's remorse you might say.

These folks do not appear to be pleased.

As you may recall, it was these kinds of town hall meetings that cause the failure of the ACA's repeal effort by Don. Angry, angry voters holding their reps to account. Not that he had a replacement plan anyway.

More proof the buyer's remorse meme is fake:

Republicans Register High Approval of Trump

Ninety-three percent of Republicans, 37% of independents and 4% of Democrats approve of Trump’s job performance overall. Republicans also broadly approve of the president’s handling of immigration (92%), foreign affairs (90%), the economy (90%) and foreign trade (89%). Another 80% of Republicans each approve of Trump’s handling of the situations in the Middle East and Ukraine.

Has Sen. Tillis had enough?

Sen.Thom Tillis (R-NC) pushed back on President Donald Trump's comments blaming Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for the war in Ukraine, and issued a warning that Russian President Vladimir Putin is a "cancer" that cannot be given "any space."
You lied in your OP. You'll stop the lying NOW.

That’s why Trumps approval ratings are rising. If it goes bad voters can vote in a different Congress at theirs point, Americans still believe Trump is a better choice than Biden or Harris, at this point I tend to agree, what is funny is had Biden or Obama had attempted this all you left wingers would be happy. The only issue is Democrats believe in tax and spend and for the last 109 plus years it hasn’t worked in America’s favor. I’m all for cutting waste, like SSI spending on paying dead people or transgender surgery for people in Nigeria. Saving money is a good option.

Gasp!!!

That's a government job!!

I thought you were saying that the factory jobs were better?

Anywho, looks like tRump is getting ready to screw you and your fellow letter carriers over.

i was saying that?....i think you have me mixed up with someone else....and trump wont be screwing me over....

If the election were held today, with voters being able to see the chaos Dotard has caused, and with the realization he isn't doing a damn thing about inflation because it is out of a prez's ability to control, let's just say the election outcome would not be certain.

Yes.

The crazy thing is trump had a real opportunity to build a worthy legacy. If he had cut the size of government in a measured way, if he hadn't been so focused on retribution, if he hadn't drawn attention to himself by referring to himself as a king or teased the desire to violate the Constitution by having a third term, if he had nominated cabinet officials who were worthy of the job, if, if if.

Unfortunately, that isn't who he is. Unfortunately, he's everything we thought he was but worse. Fortunately, he seems not to care about the damage he is doing to the political prospects of the party he leads.
your party is the same way berg....trying to tell everyone how to live and what you should accept....no difference...

If so I apologize, but tRump will be screwing you over.
i dont think so....im retired.....and most postal employees the ones who actually touch the mail will be delighted if he removes lots of the management.....

You have a $2T deficit. Would they like to keep their jobs but America becomes insolvent?

They will be forced out of work anyways but their dollar will be worthless and if war breaks out you are in bigger trouble.

Question is, even if they cut massive govt spending, will they even bother to try and reduce the debt, or just give it to their rich friends and themselves?

LOL!!!

OK, then I will call you back in 26, and let things fall where they may. I am saving your posts, so that in 26, I can show how incompetent you were/are!
