I like theater/plays. Wonderful art form, wonderful experience. Can't stomach the other two.

But I never watch any kind of "awards" show of any kind, ever. I find them a hopeless black hole of pretentiousness.

I've seen Cats, Damn Yankees, Le Bourgeoisie Gentilhomme, The Lion King... all palatable.

But when my ex dragged me to an opera... Hansel und Gretel... in German... that's when I threw in the towel.

you have to see an Italian Opera H.....Verdi,Rossini....then you get some great songs and arias.....German Operas are only good if they are Wagner....
