Does Anyone Remember When Trump "achieved a major breakthrough for peace in the Middle East?" I do not, but I remember Trump having his WH page online claim that to be true.

I wonder what was meant, what was being implied? Maybe some Space Cadets out here in cyberspace can fill us all in?

pardon the bloviating, and the truthful hyperbole(Trump's own phrase for his own statements)

In all seriousness, what was this proclaimed "achievement?"

Yup...it was called the "Abraham accords". And the democrats had to conspire with Iran to get the saudis to not sign on...but that was only temporary.

You only delayed Trumps magnificence...NOT ended it :D

Peace deal(s) between nations not at war with each other.

Only in the land of Magatonians

What did the Abraham Accords do?...

The Emirates and Bahrain recognized Israel's sovereignty.... enabling the establishment of full diplomatic relations.....
A monumental advancement in middle east peace... then Biden lifted Iranian sanctions and gave them billions and Iran started to attack Israel... your side Dante are a fucking evil menace to future global peace....

Read your own link. It says right there that Trumpy obliterated ISIS.

Nope.

And it's actually a Trump WH posting ...

What it does mention is the Caliphate, that existed briefly in Syria and Iraq.

"The Islamic State (IS) established a caliphate in Syria and Iraq in 2014, during the Syrian civil war, by taking advantage of the local military's weakness. The IS's caliphate ruled an area with a population of around 12 million people, and they enforced their extremist version of Islamic law."

ISIS was not destroyed. similar: The MAO Chinese communists chased out the Chinese that established Taiwan.

now stfu

Yes, a major breakthrough.
Only in the minds of cultists and lightweights

Even the J-Post was laughing

The Abraham Accord: No details, no devil - analysis

Unlike the treaties with Egypt and Jordan that had to devolve into minute details about boundaries and timetables, these documents were much more general.

The Israel-Egypt peace deal signed at the White House on March 26, 1979, spanned dozens of pages and included letters, annexes, detailed maps and agreed minutes. So it goes when two sides that fought four bloody wars decide to terminate their state of war and disentangle. There were no-go zones in the Sinai to delineate, timelines of withdrawal from oil fields to spell out, and an international boundary to set. That takes a lot of ink.

The same is true of the Israel-Jordan peace treaty, signed on October 26, 1994, in the Arava. That document, which put to end the state of war that existed between two countries that had fought each other three times, included a preamble, 30 articles, five annexes and agreed minutes.Contrast that with the relatively brief documents signed Tuesday on the White House lawn.

So Trumpy did not obliterate ISIS. This is so confusing. You don't seriously think that our Trumpy would lie to us???????

You do realize many nations like Saudi Arabia while not at war with Israel didn't recognize Israel, to the point of not allowing US citizens with Israeli stamps on the passports to enter Saudi Arabia?

Some people in my old company had two passports, authorized by the US government, one for normal use, and one only for those Countries with the Israel snit.

Yes, a major breakthrough.
There were three documents in all: the Abraham Accords declaration; the Declaration of Peace, Cooperation, and Constructive Diplomatic and Friendly Relations Between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Israel; and the Treaty of Peace, Diplomatic Relations and Full Normalization Between the United Arab Emirates and the State of Israel. The first document was 210 words, the second about 460, and the peace treaty with the UAE spread over nine pages. Why so short? Because unlike the treaties with Egypt and Jordan that had to devolve into minute details about boundaries and timetables, these documents were much more general.

Much ado was made in the run-up to Tuesday’s signing that no one in Israel – outside of the prime minister, his advisers, and officials involved in drawing up the documents – had any idea what was in them.Would they spell out an Israeli promise not to extend sovereignty to parts of the West Bank? Would they explicitly refer to a future Palestinian state? Would there be any mention of a US commitment to sell F-35s to the UAE?That the Prime Minister’s Office was so tight-lipped about the contents of the documents fueled speculation that they contained something explosive.

Biden just starts wars.... dems are not interested in global peace anymore... they have gone to the dark side.... they are now the war mongers....

You do realize what a joke it all was?
