I've seen a more modern candle lantern (for camping) with a device like that in them....It was either of Swiss or German design.....It makes a lot of sense.

Like a lot of things that are worthwhile in this world it is incredible in its simplicity. Someone had an epiphany in the subconcious and this is the result. I love it.

Oh my, I need twenty of these for all the candles I have burning in every room of my house.

Be still my pounding heart! Why should anyone blow out a candle when they can pay fifteen bucks for this.......
