There was a film about a woman who claimed to be Anastasia with Ingred Bergman and Yul Brynner, 1956.It was actually covered by the TV show Unsolved Mysteries. There was a woman who claimed to be Anastasia and an overwhelming amount of evidence to support it. It went on for years. Eventually DNA "solved" the case and Anastasia was declared dead at the hands of the Bolsheviks as was originally thought. However such things could be fabricated, theoretically. Perhaps some relatives trying to conceal the reality of her final years from the public. I think the case presented by Unsolved Mysteries really could have something to it.
