An urgent and serious message for Black MAGA

Augustus Corbett is a back attorney who is an INDEPENDENT. He is urging black MAGA supporters to stop doing 17 specific things.

1) Trump has turned on ALL Americans. Not just black ones.
2) My parents and grandparents made a meager living growing, harvesting, boxing, and canning figs. The old black & white photos show them in ragged clothes and usually barefoot. So whites worked on "plantations" and my family had nothing handed to them that they didn't work for.
3) My earliest ancestor to have stepped foot on America soil was brought here as a slave. A white slave. An indentured slave. He was ultimately able to buy his way out of slavery.

I have never been rich and I don't have a single family member (past or present) who's ever been rich. We've all had to work for a living. When I fail ... I own it. When I succeed, I embrace it. But one thing I will never do is play the part of a perpetual victim. That's a cop out.

Yes, you are right about Trump. Poor whites were the most violent in the practice of Jim Crow, and poor whites were eligible for government economic assistance that blacks were denied. The thing is that instead of poor whites recognizing that they are getting screwed just like black, they chose to believe they were better than blackss and that if blacks even looked like they were doing better., those poor white people would commit violence. So today poor white need to recognize is what you know recognize and stop faling for Trumps and the right wings race hustle. MLK spoke about that too, which is anoothe thing racists mis when they start talking about the one sentence they know and only use when they are called out for their behavior.

Indenturred servants were not slaves.

“The tale of the Irish slaves is rooted in a false conflation of indentured servitude and chattel slavery. These are not the same. Indentured servitude was a form of bonded labour, whereby a migrant agreed to work for a set period of time (between two and seven years) and in return the cost of the voyage across the Atlantic was covered. Indentured servitude was a colonial innovation that enabled many to emigrate to the New World while providing a cheap and white labour force for planters and merchants to exploit. Those who completed their term of service were awarded ‘freedom dues’ and were free. The vast majority of labourers who agreed to this system did so voluntarily, but there were many who were forcibly transplanted from the British Isles to the colonies and sold into indentured service against their will. While these forced deportees would have included political prisoners and serious felons, it is believed that the majority came from the poor and vulnerable. This forced labour was in essence an extension of the English Poor Laws, e.g. in 1697. John Locke recommended the whipping of those who ‘refused to work’ and the herding of beggars into workhouses.

Indeed this criminalisation of the poor continues into the 21st century. In any case, all bar the serious felons were freed once the term of their contract expired.”

Whites such you play the victim all the time. You story, if told by someone black, gets called playing the victim. There are no perpetual black victims, the facts of Ameican history both past and present are just things you have to face. By all white mas standards I have not failed, so you unning your mouth about someboby blaming othes for thei failure does not apply. The facts of hitory, past and present shows that whites have done things that have hindered our progress and whether or not you like hearing it be said is not going to stop it from being said
