I am fascinated. I grew up in a very christian town and later on worked and socialized with muslims. I attended sunday school and church and later ---several experiences in mosques. There is no question that
the christian approach is-----"everyone should be christian" and there is no question that the muslim approach is everyone who is NOT MUSLIM or refuses to be subjugated to muslim rule should be dead----but the fact is that the jewish approach to non-jews is ----SIMPLY ---leave it alone and mostly STAY AWAY. I have always found the three DIFFERENT approaches to be fascinating and those who SWALLOWED which or what

Apparently you know very little about a Muslim Iman. There is no formal process to become ordained as an Imam, and they are not required to be "certified" by any Muslim organization. They attain their title by studying under a leader of a mosque, learning the Quran in a theological school, then eventually teaching in a mosque.

Tawhidi has a pretty impressive social media presence with over 800,000 followers on Twitter alone. He's an Islamic scholar and thinker, and has dedicated his life to fighting Islamic extremism. But if it will make you feel better, he is a member of the Global Imams Council, which is comprised of scholars from all sects of Islam.

Sounds to me like it was a total and complete failure of the Authorities in Nigeria that is the root cause of this.
