The attached article is about an unfortunate episode where an Ohio State professor(!) who penned an article expressing the opinion that college football is something that is needed more than ever during the Corona Virus era.
Subsequently, he was apparently beaten about the dead and shoulders, thus suffering severe brain damage and APOLOGIZING for his original letter, after realizing how horrible the thoughts he previously expressed insulted, harmed, belittled, slandered, traumatized, belittled, and simply hurt Black college athletes. The apology is so mawkish that one wonders if it is satire - one could only hope. But apparently not.
But if this letter manifests the current "woke" opinion of exalted humanity on the subject of Blacks in college athletics, then the solution is too simple to articulate. If "they" find the "deal" objectionable they should absolutely decline the scholarship,s and force the audience and alumni to suffer along with - if you will pardon the expression - "white" players.
Or we could go the Fully Monty and have the Division I athletic teams comprised of actual STUDENTS IN GOOD STANDING.
