We deserve a collapse. Pure selfishness rules many of us. And our generosity is of course using other people's money. As the years go on the chance of collapse will increase or the takeover as the primary nation in the world will be China as they eclipse us. Trump trying to keep paying the population off while not increasing the deficit is not easy. The Republicans seem to be doing the sidestep again on budgetary issues. Our taxes will go up next year from the 2017 legislation if they do nothing. Most likely a percentage of people will not vote Republican again and of course, they will have thrown an opportunity away again as they have in the past.

This happened also in 2023 when Biden was President and 2011 when Obama was President.

And I don't believe the Trump administration has authorized any expenditures as yet, at least in any significant amount. They have clawed back billions in spending authorized by the Biden administration that never should have been authorized.

They will be operating under the Biden budget until October 1 when the first fiscal year of Trump 47 administration will begin. Trump has been in office four months, not enough time to pass any legislation that significantly affects the U.S. economy.
