Americans can't produce leather furniture any more.

IN the early 2000's, you could buy leather furniture in America. But not any more. Now every American "leather" furniture is a synthetic leather, mixed with plastic.

Why do Americans constantly lose their capabilities?

A similar story went down in construction in the 1940's, when Americans lost their ability to construct family houses from bricks.

Very interesting.

Is this because Americans want ever cheaper things at ever higher prices?
