I don't use Amazon and eBay and the annoying thing is, when you do a search on my web browser, page upon page of results are Amazon and eBay.

Is there a way to block these type of sites? Is there a specific web browser with that facility?

I use Brave's browser but I wouldn't touch DuckDuckGo with a ten foot pole.

I like Startpage.com for web searches.

I've never done business with Amazon but I do buy junk from eBay, though.

I do know that when I used to use Baal's Windows operating system you could edit your hosts file to block those web sites completely.

or try adblocker.

I left Google for that reason.
I actively boycott leftist media like the Guardian and CNN etc, but they always came up first in news searches. Even though the Guardian is one of the lowest selling papers in the UK with a circulation of 150'000 sales.
I'm on DuckDuckGo now and much less stressed.
When leftsit media pops up on my Facebook, I block and report as spam.
