Alec Baldwin Rust trial to begin this week

Movie industry firearms safety guidelines tell actors never to put their finger on the trigger until ready to shoot, treat all firearms as though loaded, and not point a gun at anyone unless absolutely necessary, and then in consultation with a safety expert.

Do you mean like a licensed arms handler certifying the gun wasn't loaded with real bullets.

Don't be stupid. Once you change parts, you totally change how the gun worked. A gunsmith can polish the sear, so it's a much lighter trigger. Replace it with a new OEM sear, and the trigger pull is completely different. No longer a "hair" trigger.
The parts were whatever broke off during testing.....why don't you go get a coke.

They broke the safety notches on the hammer. If they were worn, it means the gun could actually fire without pulling the trigger.,

Since they broke it, replacing it with a new hammer, and it's no longer the original (worn) gun.

It's like a person claiming his brakes failed, and during testing, they broke the caliper, and then replaced it with a brand new one.

You can no longer test for brake failure.

'treat all firearms as though loaded'..............

OOPs.
Explain this

Shouldn't Chuck Norris treat all hand grenades as though loaded....

Yet you see him pull the pin, and as I showed, real grenades look just like fake ones.

No one said they tried to replace parts.

He did.

They have actors light sticks of dynamite. Pull the pin on hand grenades. Even cut wires on timebombs.

And every one, made to look just like the real thing.

And yet nobody dies. Why is that? :rolleyes-41:

So now he was told to point it at a woman and pull the trigger??

Once more Smith and Wesson SAA.

No transfer bar. No safety.
So don't cock it and point it at anything you don't want to destroy.

This isn't rocket surgery, motherfuckers. I'd be onto this thing no matter the politics, that dumbass actor killed a woman for nothing because he didn't follow the rules of gun safety that most people know. :nono:

And at the end of this waste of bandwidth, Alec is still being charged for felony involuntary manslaughter.
As well he should be, I don't see why the armorer should be charged, though.

What about lighting sticks of dynamite, or pulling the pin on hand grenades?

If they were real, they could take out half the film crew.

Steel fragments (not to be confused with shrapnel) are provided by the grenade body and produce an injury radius of 15 meters (49 ft), with a fatality radius of 5 meters (16 ft), though some fragments can disperse as far out as 250 meters (820 ft).

And Chuck Norris just pulled the pin without inspecting the grenade.

Because the armorer was completely negligent by putting live rounds into a stunt gun.
It's like putting leaded gas into a car with a catalytic converter. You don't do it, because the consequences can be severe.
