ALARMS for ‘offensive’ language are being tested in classrooms NOW​

A new ‘trigger warning detector’ recently was presented at Dubai Design Week, and it’s currently being tested in classrooms and universities outside the US. The alarm sounds off when it ‘detects offensive language or jokes,’ news reports say. Its ultimate goal is ‘to manifest political correctness.’ Yikes. This kind of device is as far away from freedom of speech and thought that you could imagine, Glenn says. Will it soon be inside American classrooms too?
