Al Jazeera America Is On The Air!

Media Matters is silent. Huffington is silent. Why isn't the media interested in how much Al Gore and Keith Olbermann made by selling an American "news" network to a foreign propaganda agency? Isn't anybody interested?

The lie is from daveman. :)

Why would I want to support such a network with my ratings?

Better still, Synth...why would YOU?
Because it's a very good news station.

Instead of watching another round-table discussion on MSNBC, or instead of watching CNN treat extremists as if they are rational media members, or instead of watching FOXNEWS twist yet another story into anti-Democrat/anti-Obama, I can watch coverage of the wildfires out west, or coverage of David Miranda being held at Heathrow for 9 hours, or any number of other actual news stories happening each day.

I highly recommend you at least stop being a Republican for a bit and open your mind to something besides FOX. :)

That's the kind of post that put daveman into rehab the first time. lol

I watched it yesterday and today.
It seems pretty good to me.
The Documentary they had yesterday was pretty biased on Old Navy and Walmart. They have the right to not be sued by foreign workers. It is the Countries that need to change their working condition regulations and child labor laws.
I like the coverage they have on World News.

If you have Uverse you won't be able to see it. AT&T decided to sensor the American public from it.
Yet they still carry Anti American MSNBC
Al Jazeera America (AJAM) filed a lawsuit against another pay-TV provider, AT&T, after the telecom giant made an eleventh-hour decision Monday night to drop the channel from its U-Verse service by citing "contractual disputes." AT&T turned off the channel at 11:59 p.m. ET Monday,

What's the "lie"?

I see an injured protester being helped by a doctor.
When the doctor lifts the man's shirt, there is no injury under the bloodstain. And with a wounded abdomen, it would be extremely painful to move a leg like that.

Maybe the doctor healed him... :dunno:

The reaction will tell you everything you need to know about the difference between the left and the right. The right takes Al-Jazz in stride just like every other left wing network while the crazy left is still having apoplectic fits about voices on the radio and Fox news.

Oh, well, then, that TOTALLY means AJ didn't lie.

How's that work again?

I admit to watching "The Five"
(I'm hot for Dana) :eusa_shhh:
But other than that I get my news from here or my email.

AlJazeera, meanwhile, rakes in its money from Qatar - a Sharia Law based government.
No thanks

My cable company doesn't carry it. I don't want to see a muslim centric news station and yes if a company carried the channel it would definitely influence my decision whether to use that company's services or another company that didn't carry the station. Should it be allowed to broadcast? Certainly. That doesn't mean I won't exercise my independent ability to not watch it or not financially support companies that carry it.
