The breadth and scope of the Dems creepy fascination with tranny’dom is brought into laser focus when $hundreds of thousands of dollars is wasted on such nonsense as “menstrual-cycles in tranny men”.

I will never understand the sheer absurdity in Dems continued need to force their tranny sociopathy on others.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture granted Southern University Agricultural & Mechanical College in Louisiana $600,000 to study menstrual cycles in “transgender men,” according to a new database compiled by the American Principles Project.

The database, “Funding Insanity: Federal Spending on Gender Ideology under Biden-Harris,” states the school “will Study Menstrual Cycles in ‘Transgender Men And People With Masculine Gender Identities, Intersex, And Non-Binary Persons.'”

No wonder Tampon Tim was so emphatic about distributing Tampons for his transgender friends.

Not only is this indefensible from any source, what business does the Agriculture Department have funding transgender anything? What in the world does that have to do with agriculture.

Yes, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) awarded a $600,000 grant to Southern University Agricultural & Mechanical College in Louisiana for a study on menstrual cycles in transgender men, as well as individuals with masculine gender identities, intersex individuals, and non-binary persons. The study aimed to address concerns related to menstruation, including the potential use of natural fibers like hemp in hygiene products1. However, the grant was later canceled by the Agriculture Secretary3.

The grant was canceled on February 14, 2025.

Well, trans men are actually women, so they are still going to menstruate unless all the steroids they’re taking to transition stops it or unless they’ve had their reproductive organs removed

But, yeah, it definitely doesn’t need a study

The term "trans men" in this case indicates women who have chosen to present themselves as men. If they haven't undergone surgery their bodies still behave as normal female. You don't need a doctorate and 600k to figure that one out.

As well it should have been cancelled. Let the manufacturers do their own research re what goes into their hygiene products. Since they all compete against each others for customers, they will try to come up with the most effective and affordable products. Certainly the taxpayer should not be burdened with that.

As for transgender studies, let those studying for their PhD's do that. They are apparently having a hard time coming up with unique topics for their dissertations anyway.

And here is what the grant was actually funding. It mentioned trans people in the description, but they have no specific inclusion in the study.

THE SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES OF THIS PROJECT ARE:

A) TO PRODUCE THREE NATURAL FIBERS; REGENERATIVE COTTON, REGENERATIVE WOOL AND INDUSTRIAL HEMP (CANNABIS SATIVA);

B) TO DEVELOP PATENTS FOR SUSTAINABLE FEMININE HYGIENE SANITARY PRODUCTS USING THE THREE NATURAL FIBERS;

C) TO EVALUATE THE FHP MADE FROM EACH OF THE NATURAL FIBERS IN COMPARISON TO THE STANDARD SYNTHETIC PRODUCT;

D) TO EDUCATE YOUNG WOMEN AND GIRLS ABOUT MHM THROUGH AN EXTENSION PROGRAM;

E) TO ENHANCE INSTRUCTION FOR STUDENTS IN THE COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURAL, FAMILY AND CONSUMER SCIENCES AND

F) TO PROVIDE A LOCAL FIBER PROCESSING CENTER FOR FIBER GROWERS IN LOUISIANA.
