The reason they do that is the 99 reasons one parent denies the other parent visitation or takes off with the kid and moves to another state because they are pissed off at the other parent. So, it's automatic now. It just works for some people. That doesn't make it a good thing for all other groups of people.

Hell in order for me to be able to move from a 120 mile radius I had to do one of two things. The first was to get married. The second was to show that I was going into a job that I would be making more than I was at the time.
