The Academy knew that if they forced a black man out of his seat, there would be hell to pay! Once he refused, there wasn't much of a way to NOT make a scene.

The more that we learn about what happened, the more that I can't help but wonder if it was all planned. All that I know is that the only thing missing from Will was the red suit and overweight belly because the moment he decided to start swinging, Christmas Day only came early for Chris which I am guessing is why he never did anything in return because returning physical fire would've only made the day go from Christmas to Good Friday for Chris instead.
