for Me, Bon Scott was the singer for AC/DC.

He was dirty, rough, criminal, and without shame.

I caught him in a number of concerts in My youth.

I'm not dissing Brian Johnson. He was actually the lead singer for the longest amount of time for AC/DC rather than the other two.

But I grew up with AC/DC, and no other band in rock actually brought bagpipes into the music.

I'll be honest. I miss the guy.

But here is what made him the best leadman for AC/DC.

I agree 100%.

AC/DC is one of my favorite bands of all time and B.S. was the best front man. IMO

They were good with B.J. and put out some of their biggest hits.

But, none were better than what they did with B.S.

My favorite song by them.........

Bon Scott was also my favorite. He could sing rock and roll AND blues. Thanks for the thread!

There are so many.........LOL

Bro. AC/DC was first started in Aussie land back in the very early 70s. I don't even remember the name of the first singer, but when Bon took over, they started to gain recognition.

I first learned of them in the late 70s. Like 77 or 78 or somthing.

Since then, they have been superstars and their catelog is larger than just about everyone other than bands like the Stones or Pink Floyd.

To say there are so many of them is like saying, "There a couple of stars up in the sky!". lol

Funny thing about "A whole lotta Rosie" was that she was a real woman. According to Scott, she was actually 19 stone, which is really heavy for a woman.

But she rocked his ******* world.

An older cousin of mine introduced me to their music shortly after the "Highway to Hell" album came out.

I was 11 yrs. old at the time.

57 now, and still a fan.

Many great songs.

65 here, just this month.

A lot of this music, including what I call Original AC/DC, was the soundtrack of my youth.

who is the 3rd? and yes I agree bon had that unique voice, that swagger and many would wonder if he did not drink so hard and choke the next album which was back in black but many songs were already written how they might have sounded with him singing them with his own way
