When I was in the Army, stationed at Fort Lee (outside Petersburg), Virginia, and with my home in Pittsburgh, 350 miles away, I hitched rides home and back about half the time, and rode with others the rest of the time. Almost every weekend. That was in 1968 and 1969. I have often picked up hitchhikers, although I wouldn't do it with my wife in the car. She is paranoid.

I hitchhiked from the Wisconsin to L.A., up to San Francisco and then back to Wisconsin once.

My goodness, what stories Deanna could tell!

As a child my parents and I hitchhiked all up and down the east coast every summer. New England winters were too severe for my freedom loving family to be out on the road. But we wandered every summer.

Did it in my teens and early twenties.

Did have to physically punish a gay guy who kept touching when told "no."

He was a lot like Rambunctious.

Damn but he loved it.

Not there is anything wrong with it.

I have known him all my life. He is MAGA, of course.

Of course he was maga. You wouldn't have mentioned it otherwise.

And there's nothing wrong with a guy continuing to grope after being told no?

You tolerate a lot. He'd of been missing a hand if it were me.

A broke nose, a chipped tooth, and bleeding out of an ear.
Goodness.

Back when I was young and most alluring, I had a guy reach for the goodies and all I did was catch his hand before he got there and said "please drop me off as soon as possible".

....and to think that you think I am the Homophobe.
