Leaks about the leak investigation. Law Clerks reportedly being asked for phone records and to sign affidavits. But maybe the Chief Justice already knows who did it, and is letting he/she/them panic to further betray the trail and see how high and wide the leak conspiracy ran.

The affidavits clerks are being asked to sign would make the leaker guilty of another Federal crime.

“Under 18 U.S.C. 1001, it is a federal crime to knowingly and willfully make a materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent statement in any matter within the jurisdiction of the executive, legislative, or judicial branch of the United States.”

What a pathetically intolerant situation. The top court in the land cannot even keep its own affairs in order. Not only should this leaker been detected as a liability and never even allowed within the court access to begin with (of course, that would not have been PC), but they should have been able to figure out the trail of evidence to the leaker the day it happened. I mean, just how many people do they have there handling documents?

I'll save everyone a lot of time and trouble, especially Merrick Garland who couldn't see his way out of a pretzel box: the leaker is a female brought aboard new on Katanji Brown-Jackson's staff I would bet dollars to donuts. Maybe even her herself.

Wonder how many months and years they screw around with resolving this crime before they give up to avoid revealing the complicity of one of the liberal justices? The person responsible ought to get 25 years in prison.

What I find really disappointing is how the cult likes the leaker because they are fine with breaking the law as long as it is parallel to their political goals.

EJM, like the communists they are.

There must be a Justice protecting the leaker... It is the only reason for the wording of the affidavit. They want to make sure they get all of the diseased parts when they go after the leaker. The Court has never expelled a justice and they want to have all of the evidence to prove malfeasance before they do.

Political theater.

Garland 'can't' find the domestic terrorist who bombed a pro-life group recently, despite the fact the group bragged about doing it. Finding the leftist leaker hero will be even less successful for the left's organ grinder monkey.

Unless the perp is a low-IQ type, iPhone records won't show anything.
IMHO polygraphs should be used.
If they can track the exact whereabouts of people 10K miles away in some desert shithole based on a text...they can work the paper trail on a leaked doc.

Remember...

THIS exists for a reason.

If it's transmitted...it's tracked.

I don't know that any law was broken here. Ethics, for sure.

There is an endless amount of evidence with Progressive Socialist people in other professions to prove your statement.

Think about it.
Why would anyone with a 3-digit IQ type anything illegal on their iPhone?
Buy a "burner" phone that can't be tracked.
Or better yet, go to a public computer and send the "RvW opinion" anonymously.
Or use a dupe "mule" to deliver the package.

Why doesnt the leaker just own it and then get aquitted via jury nulification in DC?

Easy Peasy, they will be a hero to the cult and probably get their own show on MSNBC.

And do you think that clerk went through all of that...and acted completely independently?

Even a crook, knows another crook...law clerks...are not criminals...non criminals doing criminal shit...leave prints.

They know who it is...

If they don't...they know who to go to, to find out.

People talk...

So our liberal run government can track down every Bubba in a one horse town that was within 80 miles of that January thing, but can't figure out who leaked a court document with limited access? Yeah, sounds about right.
