Okay, you have to either love Aaron Rodgers or be really bored or be stuck with only Netflix to probably watch this, but I just finished this three part, three hour series. Knowing how arrogant Rodgers is I knew this would be produced well, and it is. If you're a fanboy you will love it, otherwise, it's moderately entertaining and there are some interesting scenes thoughout. Overall the series is just average.
Episode 1: This alternates between his life story and his rehab with the Jets in his first season. His life story, from high school to college to the draft is all the other half of this first episode. His rehab, of course, shows how fast he recovered, but has anyone had more doctors looking at a reconstructed achilles?
Episode 2: This discusses the friction between he and Favre and some of the issues he had before becoming the starter, but it really focuses on his lifestyle and some of his beliefs, none of which I found interesting. I forgot how good he was during that Covid season, but they still choked again in playoffs.
Episode 3: This closes out the series with the Covid year, which Rodgers was named MVP but is best known for his "I'm immunized" comment. The episode opens with he and Favre walking together on his ranch in Hattiesburg, the two kind of hashing things out. It discusses his beliefs on alternative therapies and some other hippy-dippy beliefs and I found it very interesting that only the first game of this season was included in the series.
The entire series is a testament to how smart and awesome Rodgers is, both on and off the field, but it is very well done, production wise.
