Can you imagine the steaks, roasts, ribs and so on out of this monster?

I'd forgotten about the Charolais breed but so now remember they've been bred with Herfords and Angus to improve meat production. Anyhow, more on the story @ Britain s biggest bovine weighs in at TWO TONNES and stands 7ft tall Daily Mail Online

Mine is Red Angus. He's definitely going over 2,000 lbs. He's a prize bull - in my opinion - stunningly gorgeous. I'll have to find some of his baby photos and put one up, God willing. I told my husband no one is slaughtering my bull. That bull is like my child. I will never permit it.

I found this photo of Don Juan and thought you might be impressed, Longknife. He gives new definition to the term, "Beefy".. Look at that body!

I can't click the link at work, but depending on the age of this behemoth, the meat would only be good for braising or stewing after a certain age.

Still that would be one hell of a stew.

Bulls are for breeding and show. Not stew! (in my opinion)

Agreed about bulls being for breeding. The steak parts was a poor pun.

Beef cattle are generally steers who spend all the time eating and not chasing the girls.
