Took this yesterday on my daughter's field trip to a local Fire Station

Hey CP....nice pic!

I don’t intend to take away from it but this is important for all and the pic reminded me.

In my travels I meant all kinds of people. At one hotel I meant a Fire safety Inspector.
This guy just traveled around hotel to hotel I guess, evaluating, recommending etc.

Anyway, we talked about hotel fires and safety...Here’s what he said....

“I never stay above the first floor and you shouldn’t either. If you have to do so, try an stay at floor5 or below. If you can’t, Never go above 10!”.

I ask why never above 10, and he said, “because that is as far as the ladder trucks can reach”.

Just something to think about when we travel.
