Trump has vowed to extend the corporate tax cuts signed into law during his first term when they begin to phase out in 2025. If approved by Congress and signed into law, the tax cuts would accompany an anticipated deregulatory agenda taken up by federal agencies within the Trump administration. That combination of low corporate tax rates and loose regulation would likely bolster corporate profits and propel the stock market higher, experts said.

Stock prices would likely increase under Harris, as they have under President Joe Biden, but a potential hike in corporate taxes and robust regulatory enforcement could limit the gains, some experts said.

You have to understand Yahoo is an arm of the leftwing. Even they had to admit the great man's policies would help the stock market more. The stock market IS the economy, people. A great economy helps retirement accounts of widows and investments of average folks. So WHY would you vote against someone who would only help everyone have more? Trump in 2024. It's SO important, people.

The market is not the economy and based upon the performance the last 4 years you aren't going to sway anyone with this argument.

Unfortunately inflation more than negated any gains of the past 3.5 years. A Trump return will basically end inflation.

People who understand the stock market,
Currency devaluation, inflation, and the economy will be swayed.

But most of those folks are already voting for President Trump

The inflation was caused by the actions that created the gains.
Right, so you're saying Biden's gains were smoke and mirrors. That's what I said.

The stock market's levels are based upon traders' expectations.

If the street is fully expecting the triumph of the Trumpsters, Trump's election won't make a big difference as the Trump effect will already be priced in.

The big changes are when what is unexpected happens.

Are you on drugs.

The Dow is at 43,000 right now.

When Trump slithered out of the White house, it was below 30,000.

We hear this shit every four years and it always turns out to be bullshit

Adjusted for inflation and other factors how close to 30,00 is the 43,000?

How many trillions did the Biden/Harris administration spend to create that illusion, so that minions such as yourself could push this nonsense?

Good question. Trump spent $7.8 trillion in new debt to keep the markets up under his administration.

Did the Democrats top that? I've not seen much posted on it.

The usual suspects always claim that a Democrat winning will hurt the stock market.

And then the stock market hits record highs under the Democrat.

We're just seeing the usual bad RepubliRussian propaganda here, from economic illiterates.

Go on, Trump cultists. Tell us how Biden created inflation. If you're not babbling commie stooges, that shouldn't be a problem.

Debt does help create inflation.
