You do know insurance is a state-level concern. Always has been and always will be. Life, health, auto and property insurance is all regulated at the state level. The federals have no viable interest in regulating it on a national level.

But your prediction is spot on. I've been thinking the same thing since the fires. Reminds me of when I was debating some lefty around Obamacare time and I brought up life insurnace, asking them if the lefties were going to go after life insurance companies for denying last minute coverage after someone is diagnosed with a fatal disease. That person told me that that was on their agenda and that life insurance companies shouldn't have the right to deny last minute million dollar coverage to those newly diagnosed with fatal diseases. It's just the way these people think.
