A possible impeachment of Biden comes to light.

Lol! McCarthy is going to end up forcing a lot of votes from Republicans in Blue districts that Joe Biden won. And in the end it's not going to help Trump or hurt Biden. McCarthy is quite the dumbass.
I’m curious, and maybe you can answer this for me…how is it republicans are winning in blue districts enough that making dems mad would cause them to vote for someone else? Wouldn’t dems in blue districts already be voting for the dem candidates?

Most if not all of them are moderate Republicans who were originally elected when the district was Red or Purple. They have either long careers with name recognition, or they were successful in the past getting things done for the folks back home. But demographics change, and their seat is no longer as safe as it used to be, so they have to reach out to both sides and not be hyper-partisan. And sometimes it's just due to realignment.

Note that there are zero hyper-partisan nutjobs in that entire list. On either side.

Correction: George Santos, who got in on fraud, and has nothing to lose in going Full Wingnut, since he knows he doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of reelection.

Ahh..got it

I just think that in todays climate, appeasing the side you are not on is kinda pointless? Most dems are fairly partisan as are most repubs. If dems are voting for a Republican candidate still, I would assume they are fairly moderate democrats. They must like what their rep stands for, if they didn’t, they could simply just elect a democrat, and get everything they want.

Just my take.

If I’m reading that chart right, every district that voted for Biden was done so with a higher Republican vote. So that must mean that some of those repubs voted for Biden. It also means they are majority Republican districts.

while those people may be never trumpers, they are still repubs non the less, and that may mean they would be in favor of a Biden impeachment, no?

I guess it depends on how much they want to see Kamala Harris as president.

It's all for show, anyway, since the Democrats control the Senate. Republicans have no ideas, no policies, so everything is distraction and Outrage Theater.
