A new thought about Iran

Let's not fool ourselves. Iraq is helping the alleged Iraqi "insurgents." So are various other factions. This is called "having allies."
What is the reasoning behind the Bush administration castigating the allies of the United States for failing to support our illegal invasion and occupation of Iraq, while at the same time denouncing and threatening factions that support their allies?

I think that Team Bush needs to continue to portray the situation in Iraq as this young fledgling multicultural jeffersonian democracy trying desperately to get legs under it being beseiged by these terrorist forces from outside of the country. In fact, it is, as you suggest, a civil war where the sunnis and shiites inside Iraq each have their allies in neighboring countries helping their side out.
