Here I am in the midst of spending hours upon hours conducting research on the period from 1823 to 1845 about California when my publisher sends me the "proof copy" of The King's Highway, Book Two of Father Serra's Legacy.
In a way, I'm happy as my head is spinning with all the dates and names involved in the period when Mexico gained its independence and took over control of California. But, I'm learning an amazing amount of stuff which I have partially shared on my blog - see signature.
It'll be really nice to have the solid copy in my hands.
